Sushi 101

This comprehensive sushi class covers the essentials, focusing on the significance of sushi rice, its preparation, and the art of making traditional nigiri and two styles of sushi rolls. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the process, from preparing the rice to handling fish and assembling various sushi types. A standard set of ingredients will apply to the Sushi 101 Class.  The class highlights key techniques, presentation, food safety, ingredient selection, and proper knife skills. Attendees can ask questions and receive personalized feedback, ensuring a customized learning experience. The session ends with a tasting, allowing participants to enjoy their creations and build confidence for future sushi-making. The class lasts approximately two hours.
